Here is my super easy super yummy healthy recipe to make your own clean eating muesli bars. They’re simple to make, nutritious and you know what’s in them. No preservatives or other things you don’t want in there…. just pure goodness made with love. I’ve taken some photos for you to simple follow the steps. Let’s have a look at what you’ll need.

Here is my super easy yummy healthy recipe to make your own clean eating muesli bars. They’re simple to make, nutritious and you know what’s in them. No preservatives or other nasty ingredients, just pure deliciousness made with love.

Ingredients
- 1 1/5 cups rolled oats
- 1/3 cup flax seeds
- 1 cup dates
- 1/2 cup of your favourite seeds and nuts (I used "oranganic mixed nuts and seeds")
- 1/3 cup protein powder
- 2/3 cup natural peanut butter
- 2/3 cup organic manuka honey
Instructions
- Toast the rolled oats in the oven at 180C until golden/crisp
- In the meantime blend/grind the dates until soft and smooth
- Melt peanut butter and honey in microwave in a heatproof bowl / pyrex
- In a mixing bowl, add toasted oats, flax seed, nuts and seeds, protein powder
- Mix these dry ingredients with a wooden spoon
- Add the date paste and the peanut butter honey mixture and mix together until smooth
- Pour mixture into a baking dish and press super firmly down to make a real hard substance
- Now refrigerate for about 2 hrs (or freeze for 1 hr)
- Cut into bars of preferred size and wrap individually
Notes
- If the oats are quite dry, pre soak them in warm water
- I lined a baking dish with glad wrap so that I can easily press the mixture firm without getting sticky hands)
- Make sure you REALLY PRESS FIRMLY…. otherwise your muesli bar won’t have the right consistency and it will be a “crumbly fall apart bar”. USE YOUR MUSCLES!

Clean Eating Muesli Bar Recipe Ingredients
- 1,5 cups of rolled oats
- 1/3 cup of flax seed (optional)
- 1 cup of dates
- 1/2 cup of seeds/nuts (I used mixed nuts and seeds)
- 1/3 cup of protein powder
- Natural Peanut Butter approx. 2/3 cup (depending on how dry the mixture is: obviously if dry add more, it needs to be STICKY)
- Natural Honey approx. 2/3 cup (depending on how dry the mixture is: obviously if dry add more, it needs to be STICKY)

- Melt peanut butter and honey in microwave in a heatproof bowl (I used a pyrex)
- In a mixing bowl, add toasted oats, flax seed, nuts and seeds, protein powder -> mix these dry ingredients with a wooden spoon together
- Now add the date paste and the peanut butter honey mixture and mix everything together until smooth
