You know that Spring is here when the strawberries are on special!
Being one of my favourite fruits, I love getting creative with these berries and this super simple recipe is one of them.
Using lactose free milk, and only three ingredients in total, this one is a winner winner chicken dinner!

What’s to healthy about this Strawberry Protein Smoothie?
- Strawberries are not only tasty, they’re good for you too! Strawberries are rich in vitamin C, potassium, folic acid, and fiber.
- Using lactose free low fat milk. Drinking lactose-free milk can prevent the symptoms of lactose intolerance. Helps in the development of strong bones and teeth. Helps build and repair muscle tissue Vitamin D –helps in the absorption of calcium.
- Protein powder is a staple supplement in my daily intake. Protein powder is easily absorbed and it’s a great way to get your daily required protein intake.
Ingredients
- 2 handfuls of fresh strawberries (or frozen)
- 1 serve of your favourite protein powder (vanilla)
- Approx. 2 cups Lactose free milk
Method
- Cut fresh strawberries into chunks and add approx. 2 handfuls into ninja tumbler.
- Top with your protein powder.
- Top with milk.
- Screw ninja lid on and blend for approximately 30 seconds until smoothly mixed.
- Enjoy immediately OR pour into ice cube tray to freeze for later.
Final Thoughts
Smoothies are such a simple way to get your daily nutrition as you just add it all into a ninja blender, blend for 30 seconds and there you go!
