Tip 4: Go For A Walking Meeting
Tip 5: Get More Sleep
Tip 1: Habit Stacking
Tip #1 is to perform squats whilst you wait for the kettle to boil whilst making your morning brew ☕️ This simple habit stacking exercise enables you to fit in a little bit of exercise at the start of your day. There is no need for a gym membership or equipment, so no excuses, you can do this in your PJ’s!
Tip 2 – Drink More Water
👉 Today’s tip is to simply drink more water 💧 Simply stack this habit – this means that each time to go to toilet to the toilet to empty your bladder, drink one glass of water to rehydrate.
Tip 3 – Practice Gratitude
Practising gratitude helps to bring us back to the present moment. It helps us disconnect from the outer world and helps us become more aware of our inner world. Practicing gratitude is proven to aid with reducing stress and anxiety.
Your exercise for today is to practice gratitude before going to bed. If you journal at night you can write it down in your journal, alternatively I find it helpful to do this whilst you lie in bed. Just before you are to drift off to sleep, think about 3 things that you are grateful for today.
This can be anything from having a warm bed to sleep in, food on your fridge, a successful deal you made today or your loved one lying next to you. Perhaps you find gratitude for the fact that we have clean drinking water and fresh air to breathe and that we live in a war free country. Perhaps you’re grateful for the fact that you hit 10,000 steps today or that you had fun playing with the children or dog today.
Tip 4 – Try A Walking Meetin
Here is tip number 4 to stay healthy this holiday season. Today’s focus is on getting a few more steps into your day with a walking meeting.
