Heard of Golden Milk? It’s my new addiction since donuts. I came across this anti inflammatory recipe via a friend who swore by it. If you suffer from arthritis or seek an anti inflammatory remedy you might want to keep on reading.
Golden Milk is an ancient immune-boosting remedy that contains turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, and pepper in a milk/broth base. You can make your own variation to the milk and use coconut, almond or lactose free. I prefer a richer creamer milk as the drink will taste smoother and more comforting. When made with lactose free milk it’s less full bodied but still very nice.

Ingredients
- 400 ml, 99.8% Fat Free Skim Milk
- 5 milliliter, Turmeric Powder
- 15 g, Mixed Blossom Honey
- 1 dash, Spices, pepper, black
- 0.50 stick, Cinnamon Whole Sticks
- 0.50 tsp, Ground Ginger
- 1 Chunk of fresh ginger root (chopped up)
- 1 tsp(s), Vanilla extract
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a pot and simmer over low heat till aromatic (approx. 10-15mins)
- Serve immediately (optional: top with cinnamon)
Notes
- Add more or less honey based on your preference, you could also add stevia instead
- You can use milk of your choice
