Do you struggle falling asleep?
I’m one of those people who come up with great ideas and new blog post ideas when I’m in bed.
Night time isn’t the ideal time to do business so instead of getting all excited about new ideas and business opportunities, try to set yourself a night time routine to slowly wind down from your busy day.
Just remember, no one (not even the most time efficient person) will ever go to bed knowing that they ticked everything of their list.
There will always be things that you haven’t done today and there are always going to be things in your head…
So instead of worrying about it, learn how to deal with it strategically.
After all, sleep is an incredibly important asset for a healthy balanced lifestyle.
Homemade Bedtime Tonic Recipe #1 – Gelatin Tonic
- 1 cup hot water (just boiled)
- Raw honey
- 1 teaspoon of gelatin powder (I use Gelatin Health Muscle Repair)
- Chamomile tea
Steep chamomile tea in hot water and add raw honey. Stir in gelatin and enjoy.
Ps. Gelatin helps you sleep but remember not to have too much hot tea before bed so you won’t be woken up with a full bladder
Homemade Bedtime Tonic Recipe #2 – Sleepytime Vanilla
- 1/2 cup hot water (just boiled)
- 1/2 cup Almond milk
- Raw honey
- Sleepytime Vanilla tea from Celestial Seasonings
Steep tea in hot water. Add honey and milk. Sit back, relax, listen to some music and enjoy 🙂
Homemade Bedtime Tonic Recipe #3 – Spiced Ayurvedic Tea
- 1/2 cup hot water (just boiled)
- 1/2 cup Almond milk
- Raw honey
- Pinch of cinnamon powder (or ideally boil with cinnamon stick in pot)
- Pinch of black pepper
- Pinch of nutmeg
- Pinch of cardamom
Add all ingredients together in a cup (or ideally boil all in a pot so it can steep for a while and all ingredients can release their full goodness). Enjoy 🙂
