What are lactation cookies?
Basically cookies made with the below ingredients, to help mum recover post partum and to support good health and milk supply. Ingredients include:
- Flaxseed: flaxseeds contain phytoestrogens that can help boost breast milk production.
- Whole oats: oats contain iron which is known to have a positive effect on breast milk supply. This lactation cookie recipe uses both rolled oats and oat flour for double the oat love.
