Top 5 Biochakers I Follow

Top 5 Biochakers I Follow Hero

Since getting curious about optimising the brain and body for optimal performance in life, work and athletic performance, I’ve started to dig into the biohacking sphere. I’ve learnt about what sleep is, how sleep affects our wellbeing and also how adaptogenics can assist with cognitive enhancement and how therapies such as IV Hydration, Cold Therapy and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) can assist the bodies recovery processes.

What is biohacking?

In simple terms, biohacking refers to things you can do to improve your own health and wellbeing. It is all about hacking your environment and body with the aim to to re-energise and enhance your body.

I’m hooked on learning anything new that can help me live longer, healthier and pain free and if you’re seeking to get the best out of each day, check out some of my favourite biohackers to follow and start optimising your brain, body and life!

Here’s a list of my favourite biohackers to follow:

1. Wim Hof

Wim Hof is a fellow Dutchmen (yes I am Dutch and was born in the Netherlands) who is an extreme athlete. Also known as “the iceman” Wim holds the record for a barefoot half-marathon on ice and snow. Mostly known of the Wim Hof breathing method, Wim’s website offers courses on the Wim Hof Method, with the aim to become more happy, healthy and stronger. For his 61st birthday, Wim spent 61 minutes in an icebath.  The below video is a tutorial of guided breathing exercise guided by Wim Hof himself.

2. Ben Greenfield

I started listening to Ben Greenfield Podcast about 18 months ago and since then I’m totally hooked! I used to commute to work for about 2 hours each day so I spent my time listening to inspirational podcasts from Ben Greenfield and others, learning about anti ageing, longevity and biohacking.

Ben’s podcast is insanely detailed and somewhat difficult at times due to all the science that’s included. Even though I haven’t got a scientific brain, I was able to get the gist of most of his content. Ben’s topics range from how to hack your environment to hacks for better living and anti ageing and adaptogenics and peptides.

Ben has a weekly podcast which can be accessed via Spotify, iTunes and all other major podcast platforms, as well as via his course on Mindvalley. On YouTube you’ll find plenty of great content in collaboration with Tom Bilyue. Also check out the below video on 24 ways to hack your biological age.

3. Aubrey Marcus

With over 100K youtube subscribers, Aubrey Marcus talks about his passion of optimising the human body and human performance. Focused on holistic health and a more spiritual approach founding from his passion in ancient philosophy, Aubrey discusses topics such as relationships, tantric sex, adaptogenics and peak performance supplements on his podcast (refer to links below the video).

4. Anthony DiClementi

Known for running ‘Biohacking Secrets’, Anthony is passionate about human optimisation. Although his website seems somewhat spammy or rather said, filled with clickbait, the content presented in his books and podcast is very interesting. Ranging from topics such as nootropics and natural movement, to digestive disorders and heavy metal detoxing, this guys covers it all! Below is his contribution to the biohacking summit.

5. Dr Joe Dispenza

Although Dr Joe Dispenza may not be specifically known as a biohacker, in my opinion Dr Joe is certainly someone to follow if you’re interested in optimising your life. Mostly known for his ‘heart/mind’ connection and supernatural healing, Dr Joe is a lecturer, researcher, and international educator on how people can rewire their brains and recondition their bodies to make lasting changes.

Dr Joe has got some amazing free content on YouTube including in collaboration with some of my favorites Tom Bilyue, Lewis Howes and Aubrey Marcus.

I’m currently reading Joe’s book ‘Becoming Supernatural – how common people are doing the uncommon’ which is very interesting so far. If you want to learn more about his method, check out the below video which is a brief summary on how to optimise your thinking to reprogram your mind.

Final Thoughts

The world is full of amazing people to follow and the abovementioned are only a handful of people that inspire me. However I aim to follow only a few leaders from various industries to ensure that I can grasp as much of what they say as possible. I’d love to hear who your favourite biohackers are!

Bye for now.
